The retail districts of Snug Cove and Artisan Square are a five minute drive from The Guest House and if you are planning a day trip to Vancouver, it is only a 20 minute ferry ride to the mainland and then a 25 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. Perhaps your day trip may include a visit to Whistler, the future sight of the 2010 winter Olympics... a mere hour and a half scenic drive along the Sea to Sky highway. Or, maybe you would prefer to explore the North Shore of Vancouver with its many attractions and activities - only minutes away once you arrive on the mainland at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal. Bowen Island and The Guest House are conveniently located to all that Vancouver has to offer and, best of all, you will return at the end of the day to a relaxing and peaceful island setting.

The Guest House is beautifully appointed with pine ceilings, wood floors, warm colours and boasts three sets of french doors, one set leading out from the bedroom to a large private deck where you will often find deer grazing only feet away.  The Guest House is very well equipped with everything from luxurious bedding to fluffy bath towels and offers all the modern conveniences of home including:  gas fireplace, washer/dryer, VCR, stereo/CD player, flat screen television, phone for local calling and a fully equipped kitchen and barbecue for your outdoor dining pleasure.
